Privacy policy: Energy Management

Energy Management keeps what you enter on your phone. The app itself never sends anything anywhere over the internet: it has no internet permission, and we do not collect, receive or share any of your information.
What the app stores
The activities you add, your plan for each day, what you log as done, your daily budget, and your settings. The app keeps them on this phone, inside the app. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
What the app does not do
- It has no internet permission and makes no network connections of its own, so it never sends what you enter to us or to anyone else.
- It has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no tracking and no advertising.
- It does not use your contacts, location, camera, microphone or photos.
- Your phone's automatic cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are turned off for this app.
Subscription
Planning and logging come with a yearly subscription, with a free trial, sold through Google Play. Google Play handles the purchase, your payment details, the free trial, renewals and cancelling, under Google's own terms and privacy policy; the app never sees your payment details. To know whether your subscription is active, the app asks the Google Play Store app on your phone, and keeps the answer on this phone (whether it is active, and when it was last checked) so the app works when you are offline. A code from Achieve Rehab is redeemed in Google Play in the same way. The app does not send anything you enter to Google Play or to anyone else.
Backup files
If you choose Back up to a file, the app writes a file with your information to a place you pick using your phone's own file picker. The backup goes wherever you save it. That can be your phone's storage, or a cloud service such as a drive app; if you pick a cloud location, that service may store and sync the file, and that provider's terms apply to it. The app does not send the file anywhere itself. Restoring reads a file you choose.
Notifications
If you turn reminders on, the app shows notifications on this phone at the times you set. The app creates them on the phone; it does not use a server to send them.
Health information
The app is a personal planner, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Anything you write, such as an activity's name, is kept with the rest of your information as described above.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be included in an app update and shown in the app.
